MOON – CABINET OF LUNAR WONDERS
2022
Space travel, poems without gravity, lunar circus.
“Moon is a constellation of small anti-gravity forms. A mechanical and organic exhibition, in the image of our universe, in constant evolution, to be explored and contemplated. Between whimsical inventions and impossible acrobatics, it is a search for variation of gravity, a form of farewell to our weight, it is my way of altering space and time.”
Moon is a show imagined as a live and acrobatic exhibition. These are several anti-gravity devices, around which short performances of ten minutes each are imagined. These devices create moments of lightness, moments where the spectator will allow himself to dream, in an elementary way, of an everyday life with infinite physical pos- sibilities. Moon really makes sense in non dedicated spaces. It was imagined for that purpose. The installations are thought to be in harmony with the venue and thus bring the spectators to take a fresh look at a known place. For each place, a unique dramaturgy will be imagined. The spectators will follow a path specifically created in the performance space. They will wander around the place during the performances, like a guided tour in a museum.
